Last week I scored a great deal on a nice 2001 Shorelander boat trailer that I am going to use for my 1958 Lyman Outboard when it’s finished. I found it on Craigslist from a guy in Cedar Creek Lake, Texas who kept his boat in the water all the time and no longer needed the trailer. It’s in excellent shape, except that the bunks need to be replaced and recarpeted and moved closer together to fit the Lyman properly. However, there is no rust on the trailer and it even has brakes and brand new tires. Plus, all the lights work! Cool! Nevermind that it was a 180-mile trip there and back after work. I am very pleased with this deal, especially considering what I had to pay for it, which was not very much in the grand scheme of things.
